So I’ve been seeing a whole lot of people flipping their shit about “pay to play” workshops/intensives/talent nights whatever you call them. I wrote a post a while back called Why You Should Be Going To The Actors Green Room. I stand by this opinion despite some blow back from some very angry people.

For the sake of transparency I do have to tell you that I work for AGR now. This does nothing to sway my opinion of workshops, but I will understand if you don’t believe a word I say now, if that’s that case, then this will make you very angry.

This may be obvious, but getting anywhere in this business is hard.  You have to hustle your ass off to meet people and make the moves you need to make to get on people’s radar. I know that workshops are a pretty new thing…
